Supervision & Consultation
Shannon is deeply committed to supporting therapists and healthcare professionals in their work with clients. While earning her PhD in Counseling Psychology, she received "supervision of supervision"—a distinctive aspect of her training that provided valuable feedback on her supervisory methods.
With experience overseeing clinicians working with individuals across the lifespan and in diverse settings—including schools, community clinics, hospitals, and remote telehealth environments—Dr. Patterson brings a broad and inclusive perspective to her consultation work.
Shannon has a particular interest in consulting with therapists who support clients managing eating disorders and chronic health conditions. Her consultation style is described as authentic, empowering, and rich with practical resources. She draws on both cultural and relational models of supervision, integrating them with psychotherapy-based approaches to foster empowerment, insight, and professional growth.

I partner with digital therapeutics and digital health companies to translate behavioral science into scalable, clinically meaningful solutions. As a clinical psychologist, I provide strategic consultation across product development, clinical content, behavior change design, patient engagement, provider adoption, and implementation planning. Whether supporting an early-stage startup or an established health technology company, I help teams develop evidence-based products that are clinically sound, user-centered, and positioned for successful integration into healthcare systems. My goal is to bridge the gap between innovation and clinical practice, helping organizations create digital solutions that improve patient outcomes while meeting the needs of providers, payers, and healthcare organizations.
